YKK AP reinforces European expansion with strategic acquisition, diversifying product offering to include wood-based solutions

ATLANTA, Ga. (Sept. 2, 2025) – YKK AP America Inc., a leading manufacturer of architectural products, today announced that its parent company, YKK AP Inc., has acquired the German manufacturer Seufert-Niklaus GmbH. This strategic move follows the establishment of YKK AP Europe GmbH, which was launched in April 2025 and is based in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Seufert-Niklaus, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of timber and aluminum-based architectural solutions, is well known for its dedication to high-quality facades, windows and doors.
