Many people know YKK for zippers. At YKK AP, we’re proud to be part of that same family, but our focus is architectural products (AP)—windows, doors, and facades that bring buildings to life. The AP business was born from founder Tadao Yoshida’s vision to do more with the technology and machinery that wasn’t performing well for zippers, expanding innovation beyond fastening.
