Unmatched Durability and Performance
MegaTherm® sets a standard for thermal performance and long-term reliability. Its glass-fiber reinforced nylon polyamide thermal break delivers exceptional strength and maintains integrity even through extreme temperature shifts. Using an automated process, two separate aluminum extrusions are mechanically joined with polyamide barrier strips, forming a strong and effective thermal break.

The Cure for Dry Shrinkage
ThermaBond Plus® delivers performance using a pour-and-debridge process. Liquid urethane is injected into an extrusion channel, hardened, then de-bridged to create an effective separation between interior and exterior aluminum. YKK AP’s proprietary adhesion process strengthens the bond between the urethane and aluminum, eliminating dry shrinkage and ensuring long-term reliability.
